Star Fox Route Planner
Last updated: June 2026
Planning your path through the Lylat System before you launch saves hours of replaying stages. Star Fox's branching campaign sends you to different planets based on in-mission actions — saving Falco, destroying searchlights, defending Great Fox — and one missed trigger can drop you from the true ending path entirely. This interactive route planner lets you preview where your choices lead.
How to Use the Planner
Start at Corneria and select whether you complete the stage normally or trigger the hard-route branch by saving Falco and flying through all seven stone arches. Additional decision points appear as you commit to harder paths, including Sector Y hit counts, Zoness stealth requirements, and Sector Z missile defense. The planner updates your projected route and links each stage to its detailed walkthrough page.

Understanding Route Tiers
The easy route is the default path for new players: Corneria through Meteo, Fichina, Sector X, Titania, Bolse, and the normal Venom ending. The medium route swaps in Katina and Solar for different vehicle challenges. The hard route demands Sector Y, Aquas, Zoness stealth, Sector Z missile defense, Area 6, and Venom II for the true ending with Star Wolf and Andross True Form.
For a static overview of all 25 possible paths, visit the route map page. For stage-by-stage exit conditions, see the all stages reference. When you are ready to execute the hard route, follow the true ending guide for detailed trigger explanations at every branch point.
Medal Planning
Each stage on your projected route displays its medal hit threshold. Collecting medals on every stage unlocks Expert Mode. Use the medal requirements table for wingmate survival rules and the all medals guide for stage-specific scoring strategies. Remember that wingmate kills do not count toward your hit total, and downed wingmates disqualify you from the medal even if you exceed the hit threshold.
